Black Cats At Halloween- Children's Picture Book

This addition to our popular Shaped Books series is a happy story about the activities of one of Halloween's most iconic figures: the black cat.

This book shows how fully black cats enter into the spirit of Halloween. We see black cats with jack-o-lanterns, candy, witches of all varieties, and owls. They join children in trick-or-treating and do their best to be "scary ". Some wear costumes in the spirit of the holiday, and some frolic and dance. Black kittens join the celebration with their feline elders. We have illustrated this charming book with a variety of vintage Halloween images, including rare postcards, and featuring iconic Halloween symbology.
